DESCRIPTION:\nEstate Planning for the Modern Couple focuses on issues of interest to estate planners in a time period where divorce (and remarriage) is common.  The presentation will focus on ethical issues for attorneys and accountants (including the waiver of conflicts of interest), and whether wills or living trusts should be revoked before, during or after the marital dissolution process.  Income and gift tax implications of a divorce will also be discussed.  Finally, the presentation will cover estate-planning-related issues pertaining to subsequent remarriages including prenuptial, postnuptial and community property agreements.  \n \nAbout the Speaker: SEANNA M. BODHOLT is a principal with the law firm of Randall | Danskin P.S. in Spokane, Washington.  Her primary practice areas include estate planning, estate and trust administration, and closely held business matters.  Ms. Bodholt is licensed to practice in both Washington and Idaho.  She received her B.A. in Economics from the University of Washington in 1989, her law degree from Gonzaga University School of Law in 1992 and her LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Florida in 1993.  She is a member of the Washington State Bar and the Spokane County Bar Association.  She is a frequent lecturer on estate planning and taxation. \n
