Additional Information: Heather Beebe-Stevens is a Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE), a Certified Specialist in Planned Giving (CSPG) and has a Certificate in Nonprofit Board Consulting. She began her career as an entry-level team member at a homeless shelter for teenagers and has since put her passion for community to work at a humane society, for Girl Scouts, in support of early childhood education, at a multi-service social services agency, for a nonprofit law firm, at a symphony and performing arts center, and in support of a regional parks foundation. Her career has involved grant writing, events, annual and major gifts, planned giving, revenue diversification, organizational management, creation of strong governance practices and overall strategy. As executive director of Spokane Colleges Foundation, she supervises a team that raises millions of dollars each year in support of students and programs, manages a multi-channel revenue model, and has overseen large-scale growth of the Foundation's endowment and investment portfolio. Heather earned her BA from Willamette University, and her MBA and a Certificate of Nonprofit Management at Case Western Reserve University.
