Additional Information: Heather Beebe-Stevens is a Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE), a Certified Specialist in Planned Giving (CSPG) and has a Certificate in Nonprofit Board Consulting. She began her career in an entry-level role at a homeless shelter for teens and has since put her passion for community to work in a wide range of organizations – including a humane society, Girl Scouts, early childhood education support, a multi-service social services agency, a nonprofit law firm, a symphony and performing arts center, and a regional parks foundation – before joining Spokane Colleges in 2017. Her career has involved grant writing, events, annual and major gifts, planned giving, revenue diversification, organizational management, creation of strong governance practices and overall strategy. As executive director of Spokane Colleges Foundation, she supervises a team that raises millions of dollars each year in support of students and programs, manages a multi-channel revenue model, and has overseen large-scale growth of the Foundation's endowment and investment portfolio. Heather earned her BA from Willamette University, and her MBA and a Certificate of Nonprofit Management at Case Western Reserve University. She currently serves on the board of Spokane Public Radio, as treasurer for the Spokane Alumnae Panhellenic Council and is active in several community-based groups. Heather is the Secretary/Membership Chair for the Spokane Estate Planning Council, a representative on the CASE US/Canada Regional Council and was recently appointed to the CASE Commission on Philanthropy.
